Hi
ya,Aldo’s brilliant clown show lasts 45 minute
s to 1 hour. And it’s
packed full of Aldo being silly, funny and photogenic! When he’s
not playing the ukulele, Aldo tries to keep his top hat from
falling off his head, which it likes to do, he opens a suitcase
and finds his long lost tail-coat and promptly gets completely
and utterly tangled up in it, whilst always asking the audience
which way should it go... [Well why didn’t you tell me?]Now it’s the turn of the birthday boy/girl to shine, they are invited to join Aldo and help by holding the colourful 24 spinning plates! A plate-spinning routine evolves and sometimes everybody gets a go or one person [usually Grandma or an Uncle] gets to hold 6 spinning plates and jump thru hoops! It depends on the audience on the day.
Music! We must have music and when the music begins so does the juggling routine which leads into an old wives' tale about the sun, the moon and the earth, and then Aldo tries his hand at magic, he ambitiously, with the children’s help, tries to make a real rainbow from a 1930’s ‘Darlington Rainbow Tin’. But I’m not going to tell you what happens next… you’ll have to wait and see…
So if that sounds like the sort of fun and laughter you want to have at your party then phone or email Aldo and see if he’s available.
And finally a word about balloons – love or hate them they do go
POP! And when they go POP! Sometimes it is funny POP! But during
Aldo’s sh-POP!-ow it can POP! Be very dist-POP!-racting. After
11 years I feel I ought to say something – At the majority of
p-POP!-arties it doesn’t happen and at other p-POP!-arties Aldo
will encourage all balloons to be thrown at him so to keep them
out the way until the end. Oh my goodness me, now I do hope I
don’t sound like some grumpy clown!!The final finally, after the show - don’t forget hand around ‘Aldo’s comments book’ for people to sign and then hand it back to Aldo.
